| Equipment & TechnologyThe newborn and 6 to 8 week physical examinations are carried out by specially trained clinicians. They do not require complicated equipment - the clinician will use an ophthalmoscope to examine the eyes and a stethoscope to listen to the heart. The practitioner will examine the hips and testes by physical manipulation and palpation. |
